Welcome to the Altoona English & Culture Club (AECC), we are passionate about providing friendship and care to the international community in as commanded by scripture. Our primary focus is helping non-native speakers build confidence and fluency through our comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program, located in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

We offer a wide variety of assistance for all language backgrounds from an introduction to the English language, to proficiency in grammar, communication and cultural relevancy, to English mastery in advanced conversational sessions, to preparation for U.S. Citizenship Exams, and to prepare for the TOEFL Exam; our volunteers are committed to helping students feel welcomed and succeed in American Culture.

When attending our ESL program, you are not just learning a language; you are becoming an part of a vibrant, local community full of cultural diversity, support, and friendships.
